Devil's Due posterTo promote the upcoming found-footage horror film Devil’s Due, Davis Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox posted a hidden camera prank video to YouTube depicting a scary-looking, animatronic baby doll that jumps out of its carriage to startle pedestrians.  The video also includes a brief scene from the film.
Devil’s Due is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who previously collaborated on the “10 / 31 / 98” segment of the found footage film V/H/S.  The film is written by Lindsay Devlin in her first feature narrative screenplay.  The film stars Allison Miller, Zach Gilford, and Sam Anderson. Horror fans might recognize Miller from Blood:  The Last Vampire, and action fans might remember Gilford from his role in last year’s The Last Stand.  Rant shall have a review of the film on the day of its official theatrical release.
